Open Voices at Open Eye Gallery
A workshop with Pauline Rowe
9 February, 1–3 pm
The Mersey Sound published in 1967 in the Penguin Modern Poets series is one of the best-selling poetry anthologies of all time having sold more than 500,000 copies. The names Adrian Henri, Roger McGough and Brian Patten are still defined as the Liverpool Poets.
In this workshop we will consider their legacy and read some of the poems from this famous anthology. We’ll also explore and discuss what it means to be a Liverpool poet today.
Free, to book a place please contact pauline@openeye.org.uk.
