Image by Christopher Nunn, 2017 About the project
Humans of Wigan is a photography project by Open Eye Hub Wigan and Leigh and photographer Christopher Nunn. We want to create a series of images that explore the town and highlight the stories, history, and individuals that make our place great. Chris will be capturing images of individuals, groups, families, people together, and a whole host of local activities.
Getting involved. Want your portrait taken, or have a story to share?
Chris will be out and about across Wigan and Leigh throughout the summer, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to pop along, find out more, and have your photo taken. To keep up to date with these, please follow @OpenEyeHub on instagram, and check back on this page for updated visits.

Had your photo taken?
By having your photo taken, you consent that your images may be used online and in a public-facing exhibition, throughout venues in and around the Wigan and Leigh borough. Whilst exact venues have not yet been confirmed, you can expect to see the exhibition in the likes of town centre shops, outdoor pop-ups, community centres and the likes.
Having your photo taken does not guarantee that this image will be used in the final exhibition.
If you are no longer happy for your image to be used, please contact lucy@openeye.org.uk with the subject line ‘Humans of Wigan Consent Withdrawal’.
