Brilliant CIty由三位中国当代摄影师:Haohan Zheng, Cuilixin, and Ratsberry创作。该展为期两年,强调了来自当代摄影从业者对于周围不断扩大的城市世界的回应。该系列作品最突出的部分是给人们提供了独特的视角,去了解这些新兴城市空间在城市转型的历史时刻所产生的经验和多变的环境。

展览的夹层楼还将展出UCLan的新中国研究小组,重点介绍由大学研究人员牵头的各种项目。

Brilliant CIty由John van Aitken and Adam Mead策划,与利物浦Open Eye Gallery合作,将在2019 LOOK摄影双年展上展出。此次展览由UCLan孔子学院赞助展出。
