SUPPORT
Open Eye Gallery is a registered charity that works with people to create, share and champion meaningful photography. All of our exhibitions are free, as are over 90% of our events.
Last year, our exhibitions reached over 225,000 people, and we welcomed over 11,000 to our events.
We’re always open to working with all kinds of people to co-produce and share projects; we work with young people not in the education system, older people who have limited digital literacy, asylum seekers and people from areas that are statistically amongst the lowest ranking in the government’s Education, Skills and Training Deprivation index.
We do this because we believe that photography can be something useful for everyone, inspiring positive futures and catalysing meaningful change where it matters most.
But we need your help.
We want to:
- Keep our programme free and open to all.
- Continue our work with local and international communities.
- Assist people with limited English in using photography as a means to communicate.
- Scale up our work in co-creating meaningful experiences with photography.
- Make our space, resources and knowledge free for people to access for events and exhibitions.
- Work more with young people, older people, and those living in some of the UK’s most deprived areas.
- Co-produce meaningful photography projects that push for social change.
To enable us to do this, please donate what you can. All support will be appreciated.
