If you would like to visit with your course, please register your group visit by submitting a Group Booking Form, available to download from our Group Visits page. Our experienced Gallery Assistants are on hand to give a brief introduction to the gallery and the current exhibition. The gallery is also available to give more detailed tours (45 mins) of the exhibitions at £4 per person.
Check our events page to find out more about upcoming practical workshops, artist talks and more. Students are entitled book for paid for events at concession price.
Students also receive 10% off in our independent shop with a valid ID card. The shop stocks a variety of artists monographs, theory books, cameras, film, darkroom chemicals and more.
There are a variety of ways to get involved with Open Eye Gallery. Volunteers play a key role in the day to day running of the Gallery, ensuring it is a welcoming and friendly environment. Check our opportunities page for current availability.
Open Eye Gallery is open to receiving exhibition proposals from artists and curators. We welcome artists from any stage of their career to share their ideas with us; we are always interested to hear about your work and new projects. Our current exhibition, Culture Shifts: Global, looks at urban space and what it means to live in a modern city, featuring new and original works from Liverpool and Hong Kong. The Gallery is open Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-5pm.
