‘Aspects’ features and showcases the Final Project outcomes from the students on the BA (Hons) Top up Degree in Digital Imaging and Photography at the Hugh Baird University Centre.
It celebrates the diverse range of subjects and approaches these students have developed throughout the course and the very personal perspectives in their photographic journey. Each student has produced a final project to consolidate skills and practice that will not only act as an expression of artistic intent, but facilitate opportunities for future employment or postgraduate study.
The work addresses and explores many contemporary artistic and social investigations and concerns from self / representation, community and wellbeing, to environmentalism and cultural celebration, and hopes to bring fresh perspectives using lens-based narratives and agendas.
