Rachel Glass’ ‘Abstract Negotiations of Intimacy’ tackles the loss of haptic touch in today’s society and the emotional burden this becomes for individuals. The series is made up of groups of people who find solace in platonic human touch; strangers who make use of community spaces to hold ‘cuddle parties’ and connect with the human body in a consensual and safe environment.
