Climate Cafe: Session 2
WEDNESDAY 16 FEBRUARY / 4:30–6PM / BOOK HERE
Open Eye is offering three facilitated Climate Cafes lasting for an hour and a half and open to all. A climate café is a simple, hospitable, empathetic space where anyone’s fears and uncertainties about our climate crisis can be safely expressed. Climate anxiety is something that is often not talked about but many people recognise an increasing sense of unease about changes in our climate and what this means for the future.
A climate café is an action free space in which we can freely and safely talk about our thoughts and feelings concerning climate breakdown.
We will provide cake and hot drinks and you are very welcome to join us at Open Eye Gallery on Wednesdays on one of the following dates 26 January, 16 February, 9 March from 4.30 to 6pm.
The Cafes will be facilitated by Dinah Dossor of the Climate Psychology Alliance and Margaret Smith of Transition Liverpool.
