Digital Window Gallery: Independents Biennial
18 March - 6 June 2021
DIGITAL EXHIBITION: THURSDAY — SUNDAY
Independents Biennial exists to celebrate the region’s creative life and cast a fresh perspective on how people in Merseyside see, make and use art. For the first time, the focus of the festival sits in an intersection between digital and analogue programming; between physical and online connectedness; between text and image.
We’ll be sharing the work of three artists on our Digital Window Gallery, whose work considers:
How do we use photography today?
How can photography change the way we see each other?
What role can images play in making and sustaining connections?
Each artist will exhibit their work digitally on the gallery’s exterior screen, take over the gallery’s Instagram account and take part in an online discussion over the course of the Independents Biennial.
Exhibition: 18 MAR — 11 APR
Instagram Residency: 18 — 22 MAR
Exhibition: 15 APR — 09 MAY
