Granby Four Streets Community Land Trust collaborates with Photographers Andrew Jackson and Darryl Georgiou.

Granby Four Streets Community Land Trust, based in the Toxteth area of Liverpool, wants to create a thriving, vibrant mixed community, building on the existing creativity, energy and commitment within the community, where people from all walks of life can live, work and play. The trust and its community has had a strong public profile for its creative and community activity in recent years, and is home to the Turner prize winning project with Collective, Assemble.

Birmingham based photographer Andrew Jackson, in collaboration with practitioner Darryl Georgiou are working with local residents, artists and shopkeepers to explore the individual lives and identities of the people behind the public face of the “Granby Four Streets” Community. Working in partnership with the residents and trust members the community, both old and new, they hope to host the results of their collaborative work on-site within one of their ever-growing creative community spaces. Work from the project will also be showcased as part of the culminating Culture Shifts exhibition at Open Eye in Autumn 2017.
